The1992.com is a desk full of internet tools — resize an image, make a PDF, sign a document, convert a song. Tools on the open shelf run right on your machine. The pro bench (coming) handles the heavy jobs that need a server — securely, and only when you ask.

How to use this desk: drag the icons around (they don’t mind), click one to open its window, or drop any file anywhere on the desktop — THE SLOT will read the disk and tell you everything it can do with it.

This desktop is a shell, not the content. Every icon is a real link, and every job gets its own real page — each written in plain HTML with its tool right on it. The windows are just how this machine prefers to open them. Search engines read the pages; you get the desk. It’s 1992 in here, and everything works.
